Penggunaan Media Gambar dalam Pembelajaran Kosakata Bahasa Inggris Dasar kepada Pembelajar Muda di Komunitas Cinta Anak Bangsa

Artikel ini membahas implementasi media pembelajaran berbasis gambar dalam pengajaran kosakata bahasa Inggris di Komunitas Cinta Anak Bangsa (Rumah Singgah). Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan motivasi belajar, memperkaya kosakata siswa, dan menyediakan media pembelajaran yang menarik. Program dilaksanakan melalui enam pertemuan yang mencakup kegiatan mencocokkan gambar, mewarnai, latihan mendengarkan, dan praktik berbicara. Metode yang digunakan meliputi praktik mengajar, observasi kelas, analisis SWOT, serta evaluasi berbasis lembar kerja yang dianalisis secara deskriptif menggunakan Microsoft Excel 2019. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa media berbasis gambar memberikan dampak positif terhadap penguasaan kosakata, partisipasi, dan motivasi siswa. Sebagian besar siswa menunjukkan antusiasme dan keterlibatan aktif, terutama saat menggunakan media visual dan lembar kerja interaktif. Beberapa siswa juga mengalami peningkatan dalam mengenali, mengingat, dan melafalkan kosakata bahasa Inggris. Meskipun terdapat kendala berupa gangguan lingkungan dan kehadiran yang tidak konsisten, implementasi ini terbukti efektif mendukung pembelajaran kosakata dalam konteks pembelajaran bahasa Inggris berbasis komunitas.
